Kawai | tetoca wood chopsticks
The tetoca series are made from fruit trees, finished with pure bees wax, making it eco friendly and gentle on the skin. The unique meld of natural wood and bees wax results in a special pair of all natural chopsticks.
ABOUT THE BRAND
In the coastal town of Obama, Fukui Prefecture, artisans continue a 400-year tradition of chopstick-making known as Wakasa-nuri. Founded in 1943, Kawai remains one of Japan’s most respected family run producers, blending time honored craftsmanship with modern functionality.
Each pair of tetoca Chopsticks is crafted from natural wood, carefully shaped, and coated with bees wax for everyday durability. The result is a perfect balance of tactile warmth, subtle texture, and thoughtful design, a reflection of the Japanese philosophy that beauty lies in use as much as in form.
